Classic Racks Co. founders Mark and Garrett have been avid hunting buddies for close to two decades. Hunting everything from Midwest whitetails, western game, and numerous trips to Africa. These experiences have resulted in an amazing collection of trophies, and more importantly the memories that come with them. Growing up in tornado alley, the hunting duo was always concerned about disasters that might lay claim to their trophies. During a return flight from Africa, the topic of protecting their taxidermy came up again. The two began to pounder the capabilities of 3D scanning and 3D printing, specifically if the technology was advanced enough to archive and recreate antlers. The following months were filled with research along with equipment and material testing. The outcome was ultra realistic replicas that are created in less time, more durable, and with less hassle than traditional replicas.
